March 06 Staple!- A first for me. I’ll be there with Thomas Overbeck representing DWEX. We’ll be at table #80 in the hall. Hopefully you know what I’m talking about. Beacause I don’t. No, don’t. Just go to the Monarch Event Center in Austin, TX and enjoy the show!
March 12-14 All-Con – This is where it all started for me. Well, “professionally,” that is. It’s held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Addison, Texas.
March 26-28 Comicpalooza – I’ve heard all sorts of awesomeness about this thing. It’s not a definite, but REAALY hoping to pull this one off. It’s at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.
April 24 - 25 Sci-Fi Expo It’s always a blast! How can I pass it up?! Once again in the Richardson Civic Center in Richardson, TX.
July 21 – 25 Comic-Con Yep. Still wait listed. But I’m officially volunteering that weekend. Should be awesomey! San Diego. C’mon, do I really need to spell this one out to you?
August 21 DWEX: The Dallas WebComics Expo – OFFICIAL!! Save the date, it’s official! It’s the Second Annual and it’s bound to rock twice as hard as last year’s! Tickets are almost free, so check it out! Held at the Southfork Hotel in Plano, TX.
August 28 - 29 Dallas Comic Con Again. Richardson Civic Center in Richardson, TX.
October 23 – 24 Star Wars Fan Days I missed out on a table last year, but was still able to attend as a geek. Pretty much just went to see Katie Cook and was totally surprised to see Cat Staggs, too! Bounced some gnarly 007 ideas with her. Got some amazing artwork from the pair. Definitely going to get a table this year..
I think that’s about it. What, eight isn’t enough for you? That’s a big year for me! An expensive one, too! No idea how I’m gonna pull this off. Youse guys better buy lots of stuff from my tables!
