Today’s comic is super late, I know. If you’ve been following my website, you’ll notice that I’ve actually been involved in an auto wreck recently. No comic updates since. Yeah, like that’s anything new, right? I like to think my schedule’s been opening up lately. Gettin’ better at the whole management of the time thing.

So anywho, today we’ll read about this nifty new product called the “WHACK-A-NAD”! Really? Do I really need to spell it out? heh Just go read the bloomin’ comic. I swear it’s hilarious. No, really. High-lareeus. I don’t think anyone actually makes these things, but, oh, how sweet would it be to have one of these things strapped to your person? I know I could have used a similar product when I was growing up. Not because of all the unwanted sexual advances. Goodness knows how we 15-year-old-6-foot-tall-100-pound-zit-faced-boys are just bomBARDED with these, right? No? Just me? huh.

The new year is coming up. Yay! The next comic may actually be coming out later today… Not sure. I’ve got a lot of housework to do, but I want to try to make up for lost time. My comic schedule will be changing after the first (yeah, again), but not drastically. Again with the time management thing. I may even be turning this comic into a twice-uh-weeker. No other comic takes as long for me to do as this one. ESPECIALLY today’s episode! Heck, panel two actually took about four hours to complete. Lots of detail and effort went into it. I hope youse guys appreciate it.

Saving Angels #005 – It’s True!

I don’t think I ever made it clear, but to check out the comic, you just click on the li’l picture to the left. Or, if you want to do it the easy way, you can just click on this link. Once again, the mark has WELL past and, yet, I still feel compelled to complete my pledge. Damn conscious. Heh he no, really. I love doing this strip. It is difficult to write, but I feel the cause still needs a champion. So, until s/he shows up, I’ll just hold the mantle.

I’ve decided this will become a weekly strip with updates happening on Saturdays. Welcome. This is the first official SERIAL update. I’m still going to do the remaining 23 comics. I don’t know if it’ll continue after that, but, hey, it could happen! I’ve still gotta find the pulse of the comic. I can see it happening.

Saving Angels #004 – What Goes Around…

Ok, as if I wasn’t slacking enough… This was actually going to post on 11/16, but I had to redo it. Occasionally I’ll use people I know as models for nameless characters. Turns out that one of them has actually been a victim of this sort of thing. How insensitive would it have been for me to put it up after being told this? So I didn’t post it. And then I couldn’t redo the face because I kept drawing her. And then life got in the way. And there was a rock in my shoe and the sun was in my eyes and I didn’t eat breakfast and there were bugs in the outfield and I tripped so I didn’t catch the ball and yeah.

Here’s your comic.

Thanks a bunch to everyone who signed the petition! I know it’s way past over, but WE HIT IT! We actually obliterated that 1,000,000 signature goal to the tune of over 5,000,000! Awesome, yeah?

And a promise is a promise. I’ve posted a total of 4 comics now and will continue to crank them out (faster) until I’ve made 1 for every 25,000 signatures to 1,000,000. Who knows? It may turn into something regular after that. Maybe. It’s a tricky comic to do. Very delicate, y’know? I’ve got a few more ideas, though.

Saving Angels #003 – Monkey Business

Alright, here’s another one! But it looks like I’m falling even further behind as the campaign receives more and more attention. This is a GOOD THING, people! Just be patient with the comics. They take a bit to do and I’ve got more normal stuff to neglect, too, y’know? heh Anywho, I hope you enjoy this one. Yeah, it’s another one with me in it, but what can you expect from a guy who loves breaking the fourth wall? Narcissism is right up there. There are just shy of 444k signatures right now. That means I have 2 more to do for you, but I’m willing to bet dunkin’ to donuts that we’ll hit that 450k’er today. I should have them all up by the end of the weekend. I hope.

As for our regularly scheduled stuff… wow. I actually have them written out, but things have been INSANE over here! I’ll be retrodating stuff for you, so check back frequently. Special Halloween edition of DBB will go up around lunchtime, too. Enjoy!

Saving Angels #002 – Doin’ it Anyway

Here’s the comic for the 350,000 marker. I realize I’m a bit slow on getting these up, but things are kinda crazy with my creative stuff. Quite a few projects, but it’s all coming together. I should have the next one up by breakfast time tomorrow. Right now we’re at appx. 394,341 signatures, so I would imagine I’ll have another one up by Halloween.
